Purple Elephant

by Josh Blackburn

Purple Elephant is a piece of work that I recorded in the Winter/Summer of 2011. It was all done on a home computer without the bells and whistles of studio. It is an album that is meant to be played start to finish. It is dark and beautiful.
Genre: Easy Listening: Adult contemporary

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Josh Blackburn music is music with intention to move you. It is complex and very lyric driven. He is a native of Jackson, MS and is currently living in the Denver area trying to establish a bigger fan base by playing anywhere and everywhere. He is playing five plus shows a week and keeping his calendar booked solid for many months in the future. His original music is dark and filled with passion. If you hear a hook, it is subtle. The music is very spacey with rich guitar and smooth vocals. It is very appealing to the senses. No more to say. Buy his music. You will be pleased.
