ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Andy was the last British General in Basra, after experiencing three campaigns spanning 19 years of turmoil in Iraq. He takes you on an emotional and personal journey through conflict, set against a backdrop of three works of art, suffused with piano improvisations from Australian concert pianist and award winning film composer Tom Donald and haunting vocals from Kurd Nawroz Oramari. This album captures a fine legacy of the performance IRAQ after its success touring Festivals in the UK. Moving narrative....exquisite vocals....inspired piano improvisation.

Single Compact Disc with 8 page souvenir booklet in rigid jewel case. 9 tracks of narrative, piano improvisations and vocals from the performance IRAQ.

"...extraordinarily special music...an elegy to loss but pointing towards a horizon of peacefulness..."
