Album Notes
Buddy Finds Peace is the story of an impressionable golden retriever puppy, Buddy, and an aggressive Jack Russell terrier, Buster. Buddy learns to develop values and, in doing so, becomes an example that makes a positive change in the lives of the dogs in his neighborhood, especially Buster. A child learns to use Buddy's example to deal with others who are more aggressive than himself/herself.

The Purpose of these stories is two fold.

The first is to help youngsters develop mindfulness. Mindfulness is a way of being present in the moment, noticing what is happening right now. Presently paying attention on the present, without worrisome thoughts about the future or upsetting thoughts about the past events. It’s about Focusing on The present moment. It’s about noticing and finding the ability to feel safe in that moment.

Mindfulness can help youngsters and adults, take care of themselves. They can decrease stress and anxiety, reducing impulsive reactions, sleeps better and improves positive health.

Mindfulness sets the stage for a lifetime of compassion and kindness, towards oneself and others.

The other purpose of these stories is to focus the attention to the characters that model positive ways to live within our world. The characters in our stories model high self-esteem and ways to go inward to find ones inner strengths. Using breath, the characters model a way to focus on the present moment.

They accept things the way things really are. Without judgment or evaluation, one can be free to be curious about the world, and simply accept it.
