Album Notes
JT Easy, the poet of the desert…
In the footsteps of Will Rogers, JT Easy is carrying the torch of political and social critique and humor. Appropriately based in the stark landscape of California’s Mojave Desert, Easy’s off-the-wall song writing blends folk, country, and rock influences to create a unique style of wittily crafted, instantly memorable songs which have gained him a large group of intelligent and aware, environmentally and politically conscious, friends. His songs paint pictures of topical urgency blended with humor and intelligence focusing on subjects ranging from the environment to politics, from alien lizards to boom boom trucks. Indeed this is an artist like no other. Rooted somewhere between realism and fantasy and full of a dark razor edged sunny whimsy.

Adding his own unique voice to this project is George Galloway. His personal conviction expressed through the spoken word adds a whole other dimension to the topical nature of this timely song.
George Galloway is a politician, author, and broadcaster who was a Member of Parliament from 1987 until 2010. http://www.votegeorgegalloway.com/

"I like it!  The banjo is a nice touch, and the message is more relevant today than ever."
John Kereiff, The Rossland Radio Co-op
"I was sent a copy of “For What It’s Worth” to get my reaction. I was really looking forward to hearing it because it is one of my favorites, but I had not anticipated the eclectic treatment given to it and was thrilled to hear it with such a fresh approach. I enjoyed listening so much I felt it was the first time I had really heard this song. All the performances are superb and Steve Lester (my audio protégé) did a spectacular job capturing it all and blending the banjo, electric guitar and the rest into a fine, cohesive, unique performance".
