Album Notes

From small town U.S.A comes your quintessential small town story. A young man working on a farm through high school plays three sports leaves town for the Army.

Where this story differs from the rest is JT Thompson left to become an Army Ranger and found his passion for music while stationed in Savannah, GA. After 12yrs of service to his country and four overseas tours. JT is back in middle America entertaining thousands of people.

While still in the service JT had some fun in Nashville and was offered a songwriting contract from Paramount Writers Group, but alas his commitment to his country was not over and he didnt feel he could give the 100% and then some to the music as he did to the Army so decided to wait until he was done with his service.

Now it’s 2011 anf for the past couple years, since leaving the Army, JT has bolstered his songwriting, performance, and recording skills by going to school for music using the GI Bill.

With already having written an instrumental piece for the book “Words In The Dust” by Trent Reedy which was published by Scholastic and several looks at his songs from up and coming country bands. JT has tuned to his own music that invokes the spirits of Outlaw Country legends with a John Mellencamp/Southern Rock feel. JT is tearing up the Midwest
