ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
You could say that my third album “Music For A Film” has been 20 years in the making. “Wow, why so long?” you ask. Well, this is a collection of mostly-instrumental cinematic tracks written and recorded in the last 20 years. Each song has a special place in my heart, but they never quite fit in with the sound of the bands or projects that I was involved with, until now. The best way to describe the sound of this new album is a mix of chill electronic, symphonic, pop tunes that would play well in a movie about an explorer that gets sent into deep space on a mission to find a new home for his race. This album was recorded using the following instruments; a dulcimer, a guitar, an Ensoniq TS-12 synth, Reason, shakers and the sound of a pulsar star. So sit back, relax and enjoy music for a film. “Every life is a soundtrack.”
