ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Juan Mejia, Miami based DJ & Producer that has achieved a solid reputation in the east coast music scene for the past decade for his unique brand of Club dance music. . Juan in 1995 moved to Orlando to attend Full Sail of the Recording Arts where he got his Audio Engineering degree .While he was in school he discovered his true calling in the DJ world . His passion for music landed him a residency at the top club in Orlando called "Firestone" There, he had the chance to play the back room spinning hiphop and made his bones. Juan was exposed to electronic music and a true feel for the underground music scene. This was the time when DJ's played records and there were no cd players.

Once Mejia graduated he moved back to Miami , In no time Mejia had residencies at Groove Jet, Mansion, and Crobar. He was at Crobar from 2000 to 2003 where he became well known for his versatility of Music styles. Spinning at Crobar gave Mejia the opportunity to become involved in the Deep House movement that was happening at the time. He started to experiment with the sound and found himself playing all over the country in places like San Francisco Chicago , New York ,Las Vegas and South America . juan has had the opportunity for opening for such greats as Erik Morillo , Josh Wink , Satoshi Tomei , Sander Kleinberg & Little Louie Vega.
Deep House was his true calling & In 2003, after a great run at Crobar, Juan decided to start his own record label "DUTCHIE MUSIC In the last nine years and more than 150 releases worldwide Dutchie Music has become a prominent underground label with Mejia's A&R Work. Artists such As Joeski, Pete Moss , Timewriter , Joshua Iz , Soul Minority , Danny Daze and many others have recorded with Dutchie Music.

Now in days Juan continues to DJ Worldwide. After a 20 year DJ career Mejia now has DUTCHIE music as one of the most thriving labels for Deep house in the World. He continues to travel thru the United States and South America playing his well- crafted sound.
This is Juan Mejia's third studio album and he brings major heat for Colors.
