Album Notes
“Juan Pablo’s recordings are so pure that they redefine the words truth and beauty. His album, Welcome to the Atlantic Forest, is a stunning achievement.” Gordon Hempton.
My name is Juan Pablo. I was born in Uruguay in 1986 and have been blind since birth.

Since childhood I have always had contact with birds. I appreciate them in an unusual way.

Not being able to see birds doesn't mean I don't know them. I observe them in a different way, through their voices.

IN this cd I want show you the beauti of the brazilian rainforest sounds. REcorded Mainly in the Atlantic forest.
The Atlantic Forest (Mata Atlântica in Portuguese) is a region of tropical and subtropical moist forest, tropical dry forest, tropical savannas, and mangrove forests which extends along the Atlantic coast of Brazil from Rio Grande do Norte state in the north to Rio Grande do Sul state in the south, and inland as far as Paraguay and the Misiones Province of Argentina.
