Album Notes
This is a collection of recordings from Jukebox Stories performances in Berkeley, CA in 2006 and New York City in 2007, as well as some studio recordings.

What is Jukebox Stories? Jukebox Stories is a two-man show featuring stories written by Prince Gomolvilas and songs by Brandon Patton. During performances, the stories and songs were arranged as a bingo, and increasingly crappy prizes were given away as the night progressed and the audience became more drunken. It’s like Spalding Gray meets Flight of the Conchords. David Sedaris meets Tenacious D.

Prince Gomolvilas\'s plays include Big Hunk O\' Burnin\' Love, The Theory of Everything, Bee, and the stage adaptation of Mysterious Skin, which have been produced around the country and in Singapore. He also writes the Bamboo Nation blog. He lives and writes in Los Angeles, with extended visits to San Francisco.

Brandon Patton\'s album, Should Confusion, was nominated for “Album of the Year” by the Independent Music Awards. He has also written two rock albums with the band three against four and a punk rock musical called Love Sucks with playwright Stephen O’Rourke, and he currently performs as BL4k Lotus with nerdcore rapper MC Frontalot. He lives in Brooklyn.

\"Political, personal, funny, biting, sad, raunchy, and above all honest.\"
--East Bay Express

\"Delightful running jokes, audience participation that actually works, a satisfying finale and showmanship bordering on hucksterdom.\"
--Sam Hurwitt, East Bay Express

\"Fun, fresh, and decidedly untheatrical.\"
--The Oakland Tribune

One of the Top Ten Shows of 2006
--The Daily Californian

\"Sordid, pointed, and funny!\"
--Berkeley Daily Planet

\"Go see this show. See it twice. It’s the kind of thing you’re asking for when you ask, “Why can’t theater appeal to anyone under 50?”\"
--Tim Bauer, playwright

\"It\'s as if you were at one of the best parties of the year.\"
--Marisela Orta, playwright

\"...easily one of the most inventive acoustic guitar players we have ever had the pleasure of watching work.\"
--Scenes From the Scene (Theater Blog)
