ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The young artist Julia Walters recorded her first CD Sooner or Later at the age of 18 (2003). Still young in the recording world, Julia hopes to spread this soulful album to listeners everywhere. Julia, who's voice and style is often compared to Norah Jones or Bonnie Raitt, grew up in a small town in California and has played music with her family all her life. Julia found her love for singing after playing gigs with her sister and father and discovered that people enjoyed her voice. Julia still is a classical musician playing cello in the orchestra of the university she is currently attending. Tom Walters plays guitar, mandolin, keyboards and Erin Walters (also in the Band "Finding Phil") provides the violin. Bass provided by Ken Hustad and lead guitar by Bruce Corelitz. Also, Tyler Corelitz on Drums and Scott Wright on the saxaphone. This album incorporates different genres showing the different musical influences that Julia has had throughout her life - jazz, rock, soul, blues, and folk. All tracks on the album are original songs written by Tom and Julia Walters.

great
This is an amazing CD, and I'm not just saying this because I went to high school with Julia. Not only does the CD span several genres, but they're good songs too. Who would have thought that you can find variety and entertainment in one disk?
