Album Notes
Julie Dart wrote, “The Night the Moon was Hiding,” when her children were five and seven years of age. It was a story that Julie made up one evening as she and her children were snuggling before bedtime. As her children grew older Julie wanted to make the story into a book for other parents and their children to enjoy. Julie also thought it would be wonderful to have a song made about the story. It was David Sharpe who put her words to music. Julie was a preschool teacher as she made her way through college and realized that children learn by being read to as well as sung to, therefore loved the idea of adding a read along version of the story as well as a song to go with the physical book. Julie hopes you enjoy this as much as she and her children did when they were young. Fun Fact: The family on the cover of the book is Julie and her children at the age they were when she first told them this story. Enjoy.
