Album Notes
An exotic journey through the land of dreams... the sound of the harp drifts in through the window as distant drums signal the beginning of the dance. Oboe, flute and cello join in as you rise above your bed and follow into the night...

Julie Hawley- Harp, Native American Flutes, Bowed Psaltery, Original Compositions.

Will Yoder- All Other Instruments, Recording, Mixing, Mastering, Cover Design & Illustration.

How It Was Made: I recorded Julie playing her Harp compositions (as well as Native American Flute on a few tunes), then I added whatever felt right with a sampler on the computer... Piano, Acoustic Bass, Oboe, Flute, Pedal Steel Guitar, Cello, etc (and the occasional Drum loops, skillfully matched to the live-played tempos), all layered up and hand crafted using the awesome power of modern computing. This of course helped the original Harp compositions to evolve into something new and exciting, which I hope you will enjoy!

An amazement!
Julie provides crystal clear melody lines -- evocative, soothing, sultry, exciting, lilting -- while Will provides layer upon layer of texture. Each time I listen to it ( and that has been many, many times), I hear something new and delightful. Just as fun listening wide awake as on the way to dream land!
