ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This collaboration between artist poet Julie Hedrick and composer Peter Wetzler began over a decade ago following their first music and poetry CD entitled Depth Perception. The poems in this collection are meditations on individual color which trace a decade long artistic vision of Julie Hedrick's. Over the past decade Hedrick has produced major art exhibitions featuring single color fields culminating in "Alchemy" her latest show at The Norha Haime Gallery in NYC December 2014. Each color poem is "illustrated" by a musical soundtrack that moves from ethereal to classical, acoustic to electronic and blending genres and music traditions.
