Album Notes
“Julie Lendon Stonehas all the qualities one hopes for in a fine artist: a beautiful voice, warmth, intelligence, and a natural ability to entertain even 'difficult' audiences. Her performances are always memorable. She has established herself as a preeminent singer/recording artist /entertainer who is beloved by her many fans. She has brought joy to audiences throughout the United States and South America.

Growing up in California, Julie started her voice training at a very early age. When she was 16 she won first place in a talent contest sponsored by the Bank of America; a 2-year scholarship to a renowned conservatory of music. However, before she was able to attend, she fell in love, married, and moved to Venezuela where she raised her seven children. She toured South America as Anna in "The King and I" and "Promises Promises," and recorded her first album in studios in Venezuela and the United States, wowing audiences in both countries.

"UN HISTORIA DE AMOR" is a collection of her favorite Latin songs that tell the story of the love she found in the people of South America - her personal delight as she learned the Spanish language, the beautiful music, the dances, the tremendous talent and the loving customs and generosity of the people of Venezuela and Colombia. Julie says she will always be part Latin - not by birth, but by choice."
