ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The sound was cultivated in isolated Leesburg, Texas. Which consists of a county store and a flashing yellow light to slow down the occasional pick-up truck.
The Jungle Gym spark ignited when vocalist/keyboardist/producer Brian McNutt quit his job at the Texas Department of Correctional Facilities in Huntsville, Texas. Here he was drawn into intimate conversations with death row inmates while serving them their last meal. He returned to his home town and began cathartically penning lyrics and exchanging tapes with his younger brother Psyllo guitarist Dylan. After Psyllo disbanded when their bassist left for college former members Jay Crocker filled in on bass and Andy Long on drums united with Brian to forge Jungle Gym.
