Album Notes
Emoticon was written for a audio visual performance in the virtual world of Second Life.
The project Emoticon was a research concerning "what emotions you feel" when listening
to the music. Distraction, surprise, amazement, serenity, joy, ecstasy, apprehension, fear, terror, acceptance, trust, admiration, annoyance, anger, rage, boredom, disgust, loathing, pensiveness, sadness, grief, interest, anticipation and vigilance are emotions illustrated in the music.
Bolero is arranged and recorded with a virtual world audio visual project in mind.

Medora Chevalier

This is based on the classical piece that we've all heard so many times. This new version is really refreshing and reawakened my appreciation of Ravel's composition. I love the way it moves from a delicate ambient atmosphere (are those distant elephants?) to a hypnotic energetic dance. You can picture the dancers falling exhausted to the ground at the end.
