Album Notes
"Dinosaur in the House" is the third album released by Jurassic Joe, in the ongoing successful celebration of the world of dinosaurs. There's more songs about your favourite dinosaurs and also some of the more obscure ancient reptiles, with a couple of songs dedicated specifically to Australian Dinosaurs. All of the songs are written with consideration for the abilities and interests of children, with accessible singable melodies, and lots of dance songs.
Joe Landers, AKA Jurassic Joe, is a school music teacher, a proud dad, a gifted storyteller and a prolific songwriter (particularly when it comes to the subject of dinosaurs). With more than 20 years teaching experience from Kindergarten to Year 12, he has an invaluable working knowledge of the entire school curriculum and the developmental stages of children’s learning.

Joe has worked as a soloist, as a member of a range of ensembles, as a musical director, a film music composer, a choir director and arranger, brass band and concert band conductor, and recording studio technician. He’s been involved in music theatre, stage production, and, just to prove that big kids can have fun while learning too, he’s also worked extensively with adult community choirs (watch out mums, dads and teachers; he’ll rope you into the show!).

A rich and varied career, yes, but all this has served merely as an apprenticeship to his long-held dream – the Jurassic Joe Dinosaur Show. Originally inspired by his own son’s fascination with dinosaurs and dinosaur songs, today it is a passion he shares with the whole world.
