like a box o chocolates...
Seriously good. Some songs are mere tiny morsels. Each one has a different flavor: jazzy, sweet, country, nutty. I'm mixing metaphors here, but I think you will understand once you give it a listen. Justin Farren has a knack for capturing the sweetness of nostalgia, for musing on universal fears and hopes about growing up, and for jumping into entertaining tangents. It has the perfect balance of familiarity and novelty, courage and self-consciousness, that make Justin Farren not only a captivating songwriter, but also a good observational comic.

Songs from Spare Rooms
Wow. Really.
We've been long time fans of Mr. Farren and his music has always been a crucial piece of inspiration in our lives. This album, as ones previous, is utterly brilliant and real. The lyrics are riddled with wit and wisdom. He uses creative instruments and utilizes them in a profound way. The over all composition is no other than brilliant. We can't wait for the next album!

Must have for everyday listening
This CD is always being toted back and forth from my car into my home as it brings happiness to any spectum of my moods. Highly recommended on account of his amazing guitar talent, beautiful voice and lyrics that makes you grin so wide you eventually burst into a giggle and shake your head. Get both.

Never leaves my CD Player!
What an amazing album! This album is always in my car CD player (Yes, no one has stolen mine so far). Justin really showcases his diverse musical talents and his trademark (and hilarious) observation-based lyrics. I am buying copies for my friends and family (who all love his music too)! Sacramento should be very proud of Justin…he represents us all so well. =)

Amazing!
Just when you thought life couldn't get any better, Justin releases his new CD. This is my second favorite CD of all time, right behind Sound of Flight =)

Another great album!
This is a great follow-up to the first album, and we expected nothing less. It's great to listen to in the car with our windows rolled down on a nice day. Heck, it's great to listen to in the car with our windows rolled up on a horrible, cold, and rainy day!

Great work...we look forward to hearing more.
