Album Notes
This is the seventh album of Jean Wilcox Hibben, honoring our ancestors and their music. This recording includes autoharp, concertina, Dobro, 6- and 12-string guitars, banjo, and mandolin played by Jean and saw and spoons played by her husband and sound technician, Butch Hibben. The songs are the same that are used in Jean's "'Get Along Little Dogies'" program with additional verses for some of the pieces and the inclusion of about 4 additional songs. As with her previous program-based recordings, Jean hopes that the songs on this CD will help people connect with the music of their ancestors.
