ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Life story (abridged):
I used to play rock in bars. After a hiatus, I started playing old folks’ homes. The experience inspired me to write this batch of songs about our all-too-brief time on earth. And play in bars again (ahh, the circle of life).

About this recording:
With this debut solo project, I got in touch with my inner toddler. I played a toy piano. I banged on things with sticks and mallets and hammers. I “played” an ink pen that makes a little “boing” sound. I even played kazoo. All laid down on two-inch tape in a basement studio crammed with vintage analog gear. I hope you enjoy these songs half as much as I enjoyed making them. Cheers.
