ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
KAGE is an imaginative, bright, high energy band with progressive roots. With an original sound that ranges from relentless and aggressive to soft and undulating, the band wear's its vibe well. Based in the Boston area, KAGE has a niche all it's own carved out with its tendency to draw from positive vibes and a larger force. Their unique and innovative debut album "The Nightmare Ends" was recently released and presents the listener with a non-stop story like experience that brings them full circle. KAGE was formed by vocalist Nick Brown and guitarist and writer Layne Lowery in July of 2004 and also features drummer Steve Bolognese and bassist Colin Almeida.

Awesome
I loved it on the first listen, but the more I listen to it and get to know the lyrics, the more I love it. I find the songs get stuck in my head and they can stay stuck because this CD rocks!

A Great CD!
Finally, the highly anticipated debut Kage CD, The Nightmare Ends! I was so excited to get a sneak preview of this CD before it was released and I was not dissapointed. The songs all sound great and have such energy to them. If you are looking for music that is heavy yet with a groove, unique and powerful, I think this CD is for you. Two thumbs up!

KAGE ROCKS!!
I just got this CD and it is the best music I've heard in a long time. I love supporting the local Boston band scene, and I can see these guys going very far with their music. This CD is hard hitting progressive metal and is great to listen to when driving in the car. My favorite track is Jackpot Sucker. I've been waiting a long time for this CD to come out and I am so glad it finally did--you should check it out. I promise you will not be dissapointed by KAGE!

The Singing Lumberjack

A solid prog metal beginning.
There is future for this progressive metal band. A little rough around the edges, and the keyboards are not used as effectively as they could be. Still, I recommend this album for any one interested in progressive metal.
