ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Kain (born Quayshaun Monte' Weston) is a American rapper from Pantego, North Carolina. In 2002, along with his older cousin Rashem Cooper (Young Carolina) he began writing and composing his own lyrics and music.

Following high school, Kain found a passion for music that led him to Greensboro, NC. As a full-time student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro Kain also worked to promote himself musically. After meeting Ed E. Ruger and working with artists such as Young Stacks(LGi Ent), J-Rich, Eddy B & Tim G, Ricky Ruckus(AOG Ent.), Brey Quick, BJ Kicks, Young Dirt, Billionz(AOG Ent.) and many more he began to perform and open for acts at the popular Greene Street Club in Greensboro, NC. During this time he opened up for acts such as BIG KRIT, Riitz(of YelaWolf's label), BIG SEAN, CYHI da Prince, Shawn Christopher, SunnY(of Bad Boy), Freeway, and many more.

As a musical powerhouse, Kain provides his audience with jaw-dropping metaphors and a quick and aggressive double time flow that will wow any listener. Along with a pure flow Kain provides the listener with a voice that is said to be "powerful and made to move crowds". Kain has been backed by artists such as Trinidad James who Kain recorded a verse onto James' single "HollyWood" which gained a response from Trinidad James. Kain has been working on his ENOCH EP for the coming Fall and is working diligently to release new records to gather his fans attention and give listeners more than just a show, he intends to give them an experience.
