ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Kali Ra cult seeks to usher in the age of biological dependance on technology. Kali Ra is the god (or djinn) spearheading this new form of religion, music, and art. Even in its lighter moments, the music has an undercurrent of unease. The album has it all: heavy beats, throbbing bass, post-punk guitar, electronic and orchestral flourishes (as in a real orchestra), topped with a singer that sounds like the love-child of David Bowie and Peter Murphy.
