Judy Kanyo was brought to my attention to the Roy Cost Show
I would like to praise the artistic ability of Ms. Kanyo to be able to either sing classic country, the fiftish styles and still being able to sing traditional country songs. No even to mention her beauty I was impressed with "Darling It's Over" which is definitely traditional country and her voice was stunning and really did Ms. Buffit proud. Appartently she is a fan of Patsy Cline and I hear a touch of Ann Murray in some of those more classical country songs. I wish her great success and she can go as far as her dreams take her.

Also it always helps to have those great musicians!!!

A definite winner!!
I have been enjoying this album for several days now. As soon as I heard the disc for first time, I knew I would simply have to add a page to my site for this Air Canada purser who doesn't need an airplane to fly high, because she's got the voice of an Angel! It's a voice with a remarkable range and which can be as soft and warm as any I've heard, still hit high notes with a clarity that will make you tingle, and man, can she sing a ballad! She sure picked some fine songs to put on her album too! One of those songs is "Darlin' It's Over" written by Shelley Buffitt, and I'd have to say that Judy has done an excellent job with this song. I must not be the only one who thinks so either, because Judy's version of it is making a real good showing on the International, Independent, Internet and even the U.S. radio markets! She's had several great reviews already written about it.
The album was produced by Randy Moore, who not only played some of the instrumental parts on the album, but who also contributed five of the other songs on the album, including one from my Favorite Indie Songs list, "Lover And A Friend". While we're on the subject of songs I like, allow me to say that another `Favorites ' song can be found on this album of Judy's, and that's the song written by Marshall Gardner titled "It Must Be Rain." I also very much liked the songs "Old Fashion Heart" & "Living My Dreams" (both from the pen of Terrance Alan), a couple of real toe-tappers titled "Crazy Hold On Me" & "Je Ne Sais Quoi", both of which were among the contributions from Randy Moore's formidable song writing talents, and another song by Shelley Buffitt, "I Really Don't Know." So which are my picks for Best Of? Golly, you could just about choose any of the songs listed above, but I think my own personal favorites are the three that I think do the best job of showcasing the wonderful voice of Judy Kanyo, and those would be "My Love", "The Heart Is Blind", and "Before Your Love", all three of which are going on my Favorites list . Bottom line: Judy Kanyo has a great voice, the album is full of fine songs from a variety of excellent songwriters, the band did an awesome job, and the engineering on the disc is flawless. If you don't own a copy of this album, you will be missing out on something special. I promise, it's worth every cent you'll pay for it, and a whole lot more!

You're An Angel to Me!
I've always loved the 60's hit song JOHNNY ANGEL as once recorded by Shelley Fabares. (Remember the Donna Reed Show!)Thank you Judy Kanyo for being an angel and recording one of my favorite songs. A whole new generation is going to love it,and sing along like I do now. Who knows? Maybe a TV show will be next! As for the rest of the songs...they all sparkle, every one.

The world better get ready for Judy - wow
I have heard thousands of new country artists over the years. Most I just throw away - some have been great and earned success. I recently received Judy Kanyo's debut C.D. called "Inside Out". This has to be the freshest finest singer I've heard in years. I predict great things for Judy. The singing is honest and has a lot of emotion. The songs must have been written by the best in the world. Production is world class and I can't stop listening to it.
All I can say is the world better get ready for Judy Kanyo.

Canadian C & W talent
Where has this talent been hidden, in which part of the canadian forrest was this remarkable woman blokked to our ears. A really great album folks. Certainly because it is her first: a magnificent debut and there are 14 songs on this disc, so some extra time to enjoy lovely C&W. Stardom is in near side. I heard that" It must be rain will be released as single to the radio. I hope it will be received well, and broadcasted a lot. Judy keep up the good work and i'm looking forward to the next. Up untill then i play this over and over.

This Canadian Gal Has It!
When I Listened to her CD "Inside Out" I was pleasently surprised to find a wonderfully fresh, youthful voice that was so full of a lifetime of emotion. This CD is a MUST have for anyone who loves great Country music from the classic sound to the contempory.

Cd is fantastic, I especially love Johnny Angel. This girl is deffenately one of the greats, I just hope she curbs her attitude and stops looking down her nose at everyone else!
