ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
KAOTEON is an unusual East-West international extreme metal collaboration, originally from Beirut in the Middle East but now based in Amsterdam, they have teamed up with bass wizard Linus Klausenitzer from Obscura and drum master Fredrik Widigs from Marduk as guest sessionists. This multi-country collaboration is the first to bring together Widigs and Klausenitzer on this one-off project.

Klausenitzer described KAOTEON as, “legends of the Lebanese metal scene”, after performing with them live for the first time in Beirut in April at the Beirut Metal Fest.

Metal Hammer described the band as Lebanon's answer to Behemoth.

This album was recorded by the band themselves, the album was then mixed and mastered in Sweden by Daniel Bergstrand, who is renowned for his work with Abbath, Behemoth, Meshuggah and Dark Funeral.
