bravedad - Ensamble Kapicua
I downloaded 'bravedad' earlier today and just love this album. I'd say that, as Ensamble Kapicua's second CD release, 'bravedad' develops to new and exciting heights the assured and unmistakable style and definitely dazzling talent which the group had already shown in their first CD release, Musikapicua (also at CDBaby). The sound/recording quality is excellent.
Wizard instrumental technique and abundant natural musicality give all the satisfaction of groovy rhythms and delicious melodies which evidently, and as billed, blend some of the gorgeous traits of traditional Venezuelan music with aspects of jazz, and which make for a collection of stunning and superbly mastered pieces and a great listening show. I thoroughly recommend this album and hope you enjoy it as much me!
