ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Kapono is the younger half of the popular group, "The Beamer Brothers," who defined the shape and direction of "Contemporary Hawaiian Music,". This is one of Kapono's first instrumental albums and it was awarded album of the year in Hawaii. All original compositions, it features his slack key guitar artistry in a setting of innovative new age background instrumentation. Very cinematic and reflective in nature, and easy to listen to as one is transported to Hawaii to rediscover all the inspiration and beauty found there.
