ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Kara Tondorf’s sophomore album inspires emotion and creativity.
After a twelve year hiatus from the music scene, Kara Tondorf, is back with a sophomore album that rattles heart strings, challenges love and friendships, and analyzes seasons. Kara is a singer-songwriter from Scituate, Massachusetts who has since moved back to her hometown where she has written a majority of her new songs for the album, EverAfter. Her first album, I Like Your Face, was released in 2001, and was voted #1 album of the year by Music Connection Magazine. The first track on that album, “Your Words”, was featured on the Sony Picture Series, Dawson’s Creek. Kara has shared the stage with talented local musicians such as Melissa Ferrick, Josh Ritter, Michelle Malone, Ryan Montbleau, Will Dailey, Joe Deleault, and Aldous Collins.
Kara extensively toured the country after releasing her first album and as a result, unfortunately needed vocal chord surgery in 2007. Kara then spent nine months living in Nashville, Tennessee where she fell in love with the city and everything it offers to musicians. She knew that if she recorded again she would involve Nashville in her project and that is exactly what happened with Ever After. Kara was connected with Pete Stewart, a multi Grammy award winning engineer and producer (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, “The Heist”) who resides in Nashville and he produced Kara’s new album. Performing on her album is Tony Lucido (Keith Urban) on bass, Nick Buda (Taylor Swift) on drums and fiddle platyer for Blake Shelton and The Voice, Jenee Fleenor.
