The Blue Bike Chronicles: Without You

The air-tight "Without You" (from the Blue Bike Chronicles by Karen K) is what Taylor Swift would sound like if she had a 2nd grader who wanted to break free from school to hang with mom. -Jeff Bogle, Red Tricycle & Huffington Post Contributor

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes

The Blue Bike Chronicles by award-winning singer songwriter Karen K is a collection of songs for school-aged kids, adults and everything in between. A solo project by band leader of the nationally-recognized tot rock group Karen K & the Jitterbugs, songs from Blue Bike Chronicles will be released one single at a time and culminate in a physical CD (to be released Summer 2016). The mother of an 8-year-old daughter, Karen K has thoughtfully pulled together a collection here of original and cover songs with the pop, rock and country sensibilities of the modern music her daughter & her peers prefer, but with pre-tween, age-appropriate themes and lyrics. From the pop-rock anthem of “Without You” to a musical theatre style cover of the Pretenders’ “I’ll Stand By You,” (think Glee) Karen K offers through the Blue Bike Chronicles great music that kids and their families can finally agree upon.

"A pop masterpiece...easily rivals the best of any Disney theme music." -Rebecca Yorn Alison, Kids Can Groove

“The air-tight first single Without You is what Taylor Swift would sound like if she had a 2nd grader who wanted to break free from school to hang with mom.” -Jeff Bogle, Red Tricycle/Huffington Post Contributor

“Spiky, power-pop sheen…fun for the whole family.” -The Boston Globe, Top 15 Must-See Acts
