ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The musician Karin Olma from Hamburg has put together with her debut-album an impressive homage to great artists. Accompanied mainly by her guitar, some tracks supported by Markus B., her clear and versatile voice leads through timeless classics from Pop, Folk and Blues.
Well known songs from Billy Joel, Joni Mitchell and Paul Simon stand next to more unknown titles by Rebekka Bakken, Diana Krall, Nina Simone, Mary Black and others. All of them arranged and sung in an authentically and very personal way. Lovers of handmade music will be enthused. Fans of striking interpretations can sense the potential for things to come. On the whole a successful and musically well-tuned album, which is also visually pleasing. 14 titles dedicated to the end of the day in attentive care sung by a woman who plays music because songs accompany her.
