ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
My music is the expression of my love, my experience, my desires, my truth. Nostalgic, recalling fine times and a fine love, places I've been, Personal; me sitting with you telling my story. Pleasure-able, angry, therapeutic. Many of my compositions are inspired by poetry I have written:
1." There was a time" when I would have told you, our love never dies. " There was a place", far from here, where you and I would meet…..I really miss those good times, I really miss those starry nights. I really miss your loving touch. We would play all day long; we would love all night.
2. I'm here with you, drinking sweet white wine. Tell me all your stories, sing to me all your songs; I’ll tell you all my stories, sing to you all my songs; through this amber glass.
3. I never thought I would be alone: I never thought you would leave so soon. I never thought it would end this way; I always thought you were here to stay....Where is my love......
4. little Michael had a vision; little Michael had a dream. He would fly to the moon. Little Michael was a
street boy; little Michael was a petty thief; He was taken from his mama. He was sent to a boys home.. Little Michael gets the beat down....Little Michael had a vision; little Michael had a dream. He would fly to the moon.
5. Kellogg Beach, so remote; so deep. Are you calling me, Kellogg Beach? Where are the stories that you keep; where are the secrets that you hold. Your beauty and power, I behold. Kellogg Beach.
6. If you see her, standing in the roadway, if you catch her hiding in the school yard; if she sits down next to you in your mathematics class… Her eyes are black, as large as diamonds in the sky. And when she smiles, the world smiles too. Mimi’s eyes. Mimi's eyes. And when she turns to me, i have to sing, I just have to sing.
7. The weather turns cold in the Pacific Northwest in the winter time. It just rains and rains, and snows and snows. And I just want to get away. Coro-oo-nado. ooh ooh ooh ooh. Thats the place where I feel free; thats the place for you and me. Coro-oo-nado. ooh o-o ooh.
8. Waltz
9. It was the month of December. It was a cold and wintry day. You tapped me on the shoulder; I felt the chills all over. I got to class a little early, the very next day; asked you out for Friday, you looked at me and said OK. When we got to the party, it was a sight to be seen. Everybody was dancing; there was even some fighting. When they called out a rhumba, we knew what to do. I took you by the shoulder, you took off your shoes. Come on, baby, dance with me, shake your hips down to the floor. Come on baby, dance with me. I never felt like this before!
