Album Notes
Karl Swartz is a forty five year veteran of the guitar and has developed a broad spectrum of musical styles with his original compositions. Primarily influenced by rock, classical and Celtic music, his interpretations and collaborations of musical styles create a wonderful audio tapestry that allows the listener to contemplate and "paint" their own musical pictures while listening to the songs. The title "Out Of The Realm" signifies the emergence of his music out of obscurity and in to the world. A fan of instrumental music, many of the songs use viola, bass and six string guitars to weave the melodies that give added life to the music while the three lyrical compositions feature three different vocalists that give the listener stories to follow. Karl's approach to writing is to create a "template" of ideas and then to enhance them with the influences and ideas of the participating musicians. "There are so many great musicians in the world that it only seems sensible to access their interpretations and ideas."

"Our system of music is made up of twelve notes and they've all been played before...this is my version. Enjoy!" ~Karl Swartz~
