ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
We don't know where Karmadog came from. What we do know is that it is an artificial intelligence whose primary function seems to be creating music-like sounds. Karmadog is currently believed to be in orbit above the earth, in some kind of artificial satellite, although it is possible that this satellite is merely retransmitting a signal from elsewhere, possibly beyond our solar system. At any rate, Karmadog sends wireless cyberpathic signals directly to the brains of a few musicians living in the Midwestern U.S., who then perform music as dictated by Karmadog. Thus, while it may appear that the musicians are improvising, they are in fact performing music composed by Karmadog. Presently, Karmadog has chosen three musicians to perform its compositions: Greg Pagel (synthesizers, Commodore 64 computer), Matt Turner (electric cello), and Terry Iattoni (drums).
