ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
'Reflections' is just that, a series of reflections on life and living. A wide range of styles, centering around old school R&B, and classic rock, with a spiritual tone, and with instrumentation always appropriate to the interpretation of the song's message.
End Up Where We Start: written immediately after reading a poetry book by Robinson Jeffers. This is about the circular nature of life, about discovering what we already know in our hearts.
Crazy 'Bout You: This is about the funny stuff we do when nobody's looking, and about how love opens us to the infinite possibilities.
In My Eyes: about misunderstandings, miscalculations, mistaken identity.
In My Heart: I spent 10 years writing this. It's about finding 'the one'.
Chain Reaction: This one's about how our loving words and actions create a domino effect that changes ours and others lives.

Born and raised in San Francisco, Alex Kash has been performing in bands professionally as a singer, guitarist, and bassist since the age of 13. Alex's work is a combination of intense introspection influenced by his Native American beliefs, Gospel greats, and the best of R&B and Folk. He combines this with a fine sense of melody, influenced by the Rock and Pop legends of our time. Alex was born into Russian and Native American heritage (Tlingit and Alutiiq), and is deeply committed to positive planetary change, Healing and Love.
An accomplished recording artist, songwriter and arranger, Alex has 4 CD's in current release, and has written songs for two different multiplatinum albums, and sang on sessions for Van Morrison, Pablo Cruise, and many others. Alex is mentioned in "Who's Who In America" as composer of a classical piece for ballet, entitled "Transitions", and is also involved in music for film, theatre, and television.
Currently living in South Florida, Alex continues to write and produce with his wife Bethany Dalton-Kash. Additionally, he sings, arranges, and engineers for clients at Emotive Studios, and at other studios, as well as playing solo musical engagements, singing, accompanied by 12 string guitar and occasional harmonica, for corporate, public, and private events. Alex also accepts casual engagements with various Soul and R&B bands as a lead singer.

B Johns

Toneful guitar...
Paint Her Goodbye is toneful guitar with Native American influences and great harmonies.

Well Run Dry has passionate vocals, great voice

Cool Inferno...If this is my last day on Earth, this is what I'd be listening to.

There is some Tom Waits on this CD but faster and more passionate and spiritual.
