Album Notes
A recipe for making Katamon Cherry:
145 gram of Mid Swing Jazz.
1/4 (59ml) of grunge music.
about 2 tablespoons Of Alternative rock.
A dash of ground Ethiopian grooves.
3 cups of the Jerusalem “mahneh’ yehuda” market atmosphere
And a cinematic cherry on top.

Mix it, cook it in a garage in the industrial area in the south of Jerusalem and you'll get a tasteful sound crossing in jazz. From the Rosenwinkel quintet through lyrical melodies To the in-your-face of alternative rock music.

The five musicians: Elad Gellert (Sax), Adam Wingard (Guitar), Milton Michaeli (Piano), David Michaeli (Bass) and Roy Ben Yosef (Drums) met in the Jerusalem music scene. They had a permanent gig in the first station site in Jerusalem.
The rumors of the live playing jazz band in the first station went fast and they got an offer to play in the United Island Festival 2014 in Prague. The five musicians gathered up in a garage rehearsing space and started creating recipes for the event from their original music.

Since then the band performed in several different venues such as the "Globus International Jazz Fest" in Jerusalem and the Yellow Submarine showcase.
The band recorded their first debut albums "Recipe" on Feb.1 to be released on June 2015
A release show at the Mazkeka Jerusalem is premised on June 13 and contacts for tours in Thailand and Europe for spring 2015 are being processed.
