Album Notes
“Get Lost With You” is the debut album from 25-year-old Texas singer/songwriter Katelyn Hobson. Featuring seven self-penned tunes complimented with four expertly written new compositions by first rate tunesmiths from Texas to Tennessee and recorded with some of the best musicians in Texas who’ve worked with the likes of LeAnn Rimes, Lee Ann Womack, Charley Pride, Vern Gosdin & Linda Davis, this is an impressive set.

From the opening track, “Trouble Is Lonely” to the pure country of “Don’t Make Me Have to Hurt You” this girl proves she’s a force to be reckoned with. Just check out the contrast of the sassy rocked out “Zip, Zero” & “Texas Girl” with the breezy jazz of “Your Love”, the light and easy title track, the bluegrass tinged “Here’s the Deal”, the plaintive cry of “Tell My Heart Goodbye” & “Paint It Blue”, the eerie atmosphere of “Old Worn Out and Used” and the country/pop “It Always Rains When I’m Lonesome”. There’s something here for fans of all eras of country music, the old and the new. And keep in mind that all of this music is written and sung by a girl barely past her teens.

Sure she’s opened for many familiar names like Darryl Worley and Tammy Cochran, headlined her own shows and even sung for the President of the United States but don’t let that sway you…...

Listen to the music!

It’s strong enough to carry its own weight and then some.
