Album Notes
Night is the dark time, of secrets, of mystery, when our fears come to meet us, but also come our healing graces. This is really two interwoven albums, each touching upon the theme of ‘night.’ There is evocative poetry set to music, and there are songs of political, environmental, and personal darkness. I hope it is not too jarring to hear the dreamlike imaginings of WB Yeats in ‘Cap & Bells’ next to my song ‘Backstory’ which tells of those in power who strive to fashion our human reality along synthetic and unhealthy lines.

I humbly offer a few more songs in that vein, telling of the awful spraying of our skies with chemical aerosols, so widely denied by both our officials, and ourselves, as well as a song about GMOs. For further information on these programs, please visit my website where there will be a list of resources for your research.

Nina Gerber played acoustic and electric guitar on many of the tracks, adding greatly to my songs by her arrangements.

May these songs move you, and touch your heart and mind.
