Today Kathryn shares with us that “Take My Hand” was such a fun song to work on from recording it, at B.A. Studio Records in Ballwin, MO with my new sound engineer Ben Taylor, to the lyrics that Gar Francis and I penned together. I remember when Gar came to me with this song he created, and he had this incredible Chorus, already completed, and said “this is the perfect song for you, do you want to work on the lyrics”? Well, anything that Gar Francis creates the answer is always a resounding, Yes! When you hear the chorus, you will feel many scriptures come to mind. The entire song quite honestly is a testament of my path with God. The instrumentation he created, is soulful, bluesy, country so many genres wrapped in it. Then we add Eric Barfield on the organ, well it just brought the song to full circle… I won’t divulge anymore, but you are in for a treat.. this song is a must have on your play list...
