The music is mostly acoustic Americana with a little bluegrass, gospel, and contemporary folk mixed in.

"This album starts and ends with two jewels, and in between is a fascinating journey with some very colorful characters." --Bryan Cole, producer

The Ain't Right Boys and other special guests are:
Dale Blasingame on resonator guitar, harmonica, and nylon-string guitar
Felton Dunn on bass
Jim Greene on vocal harmony
Ron Hipp on mandola, guitar, and banjo
Gary Hauk and Kate Hauk on vocal harmony
Don Shafer on banjo
Peter Stroud on electric slide guitar and acoustic slide guitar (Peter is Sheryl Crow's lead guitarist, and we send our best wishes to her during her breast cancer treatment and recovery!)
Scott Wiman on mandolin and rhythm guitar
Kaedy Kiely, consultant. Produced by Bryan Cole, recorded by Ryan Wardell at the Snack-n-Shack Studio in Atlanta, Georgia.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the CD goes to breast cancer support organizations.

Touched me to the core...truly great and worth a listen.
Not only is she using this CD as a way of supporting a very worthwhile cause, Kathy's voice and songwriting are among the best out there. There are few artists, regardless of the medium in which they work, which touch me right to the core the way her voice does. Truly great and worth a listen.

Beautiful! Kathy's voice is rich....
Just got Kathy's album in the mail today and I have just played three of the songs--it is beautiful! I cried all the way through the one about "My grandparents house is now a hardware store." Kathy's voice has a richness in it that has come with maturity and the experiences she has had I'm sure. We certainly congratulate her on this fine album.

I liked it--especially the first cut--
I've only listened to the first 4 songs (I keep getting interrupted), but I sure like what I've heard so far. I especially enjoyed the first cut. Living in Hillbilly Country means I know lots of Bluegrass and Gospel pickers, so that's definitely one I can share with some of them.

Completely excellent!!!!
Bravo, bravo, bravo !! Move over James Taylor...there's another CD in my van !! This CD is completely excellent...bravo, bravo, bravo..oh, I already said that.
I'm bowing (from the waist!). Kathy, you need to pack your bags and head to Nashville...that is, if Nashville doesn't find you first !!

These songs are great--I found a timely message for myself....
I just wanted you to know how much I have been enjoying the CD. I particularly like Nantahala and found a timely message in the song for myself. I was more than a little irritated at my two children who couldn't seem to leave Daddy's side but continually found the most annoying ways to establish their presence while I was trying to work. Just as I was about to let the irritation spill over to outright anger, I heard the father's background vocals in your song. It suddenly ocurred to me how much that fellow would give to have just one minute more of time with his son, irritating or otherwise. It was all I needed to kill the anger and share a hug.
I'm not sure artists always recognize the extent to which their creations and their stories affect the lives of others. Maybe it doesn't save the world, but it is far, far from insignificant.
Thank you.

Sounds great--I got a chuckle...
I received my autographed copy of “A Little Reassurance” ! It sounds great. I also got a chuckle out of the note about unauthorized duplication. I hope you sell many copies and you should be very proud.

Loved it!
"Sing Me Away": I loved it immediately. "Michelangelo": I didn't expect to chuckle at a song titled "Michelangelo" ! What a great song! Kathy, you do songs like this extremely well. The topic and humor all work together perfectly. "Bury Me in Tennessee": Cute, amusing, and somewhere there is truth...."Main Street Hardware Store": ok now you have me sniffling, crying. "Nantahala": OK, I'm crying again. A very beautiful song. "In This Ring": Very straight to the heart kind of song. "Auld Lang Syne": Would you stop making me cry already? Just beautiful.

I am SO moved & thrilled
I listened to the CD and I am SO moved & thrilled about it that I can't express it well right now however, I have to say I was immediately taken with Auld Lang Syne and Sing Me Away and....oh all of them!. Thanks for the gift of your music.

I love it!
I'm really enjoying the CD. I was so excited about the hardware store song, but now I'm tapping my toes to Bury Me in Tennessee. I love it!

I hope you are busy writing other songs for your next CD.
