Album Notes
Katie Burduli’s insightful, soulful, and sensual voice keeps listeners captivated. She masters a rare blend of jazz and pop in her song writing and her interpretations of
jazz standards are uniquely sensuous.

Katie works with producer, composer, and guitarist Peter Bell, a two-time Emmy winner. Their first album “Artist” has been released in March 2009. Together with Peter Bell and Dan Boyne, she composed and recorded the theme song of
Andrew Silver’s film “Radio Cape Cod”, which opened at the
Coolidge Corner Theater (Boston) in June 2008.

Originally from the Republic of Georgia, Katie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance at the Berklee College of Music and her Master’s Degree at Longy School of Music.

Katie started her music career at the age of five singing and acting in musical theaters, ensembles, and bands. She began playing piano at the age of six. Katie was a member of The Art School Group, ensemble “Mziuri”, and took part in various other ensembles, quartets, and bands.

As a pianist, she has enjoyed a successful career performing all over the world. At the age of nine she had her first concert with the symphony orchestra, among countless recitals and performances in various concerts and television productions. Her tours included various cities in U.S.A, Germany, Georgia, Bulgaria and Russia.

In 2001 she was awarded the Emanuel Zambelli award at Berklee for the best classical performance, as well as receiving scholarship awards from Berklee and Longy. Berklee Groove described her as "...the highlight of the show, which held the audience captivated. The complex and rhythmic song showcased another facet of female talent at Berklee: true musicianship".
