ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Katrina Coleman is a native Memphis stand-up comic. A prolific writer, punctual performer, and former annoying co-host of the Mostly Comedy podcast. Whether bemoaning the trials of the feminine condition or lambasting words for not meaning what she thinks they ought (words like “lambast”), she’s never frightening at all. Founder and director of the Memphis Roast Club and the Memphis Comedy Festival, there are a handful of assholes who call her the Denmother of Memphis Comedy. She’s worked with Kerry White, Rory Scovel, and once got a hug from Pauly Shore.

Recording her debut album in the historic Evergreen Theatre nearly killed everyone in a four block radius. Listen with caution.

In a performance that's been called "clever and endearingly trashy, ' she's just as prone to a pun as profanity and delightedly crosses the line every chance she gets. Nothing is off limits in this honest, bold show that's just as hilarious as it is confessional. You should only commit to hearing it if you're ready to laugh far too hard at sad and insane things from a woman cute enough to get away with all kinds of idiot decisions. If you aren't ready for that, well, it makes a great graduation gift.
