WARM AND HEARTFELT!
I have always been moved by the music of Kayla Schmah, and this score does not disappoint! It is filled with heartfelt piano, warm lush strings, and ambient textures reminiscent of Jon Brion and Thomas Newman. A must have for anyone into touching ethereal music. I am certain Kayla will make a significant mark in the world of music! FANTASTIC WORK!

wonderfully evocative soundtrack
I've read positive reviews of "Disfigured" on PopMatters and other sites but have yet to see the film. No doubt this soundtrack will reveal even more emotional colours in that context. Still, it stands on its own as an highly engaging and enriching musical experience. Acoustic, ambient, textures feature evocative piano and other instrumentation. The album's tracks enhance meditative states, and, as well, are stirring enough to make for good accompaniment on road trips and during more energetic, physical, work. I've now listened to Kayla Schmah's compositions on the "Disfigured" soundtrack in a range of settings and circumstances and the collection never fails to reward. Wonderful creativity and musical taste is heard throughout!
