ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Keith Greeninger is a seasoned troubadour, Multi award-winning songwriter, and unforgettable performer.

He has built a loyal following through out the country based on on his soulful performances and his deep catalog of original recordings.

This latest Cd Soul Connection features performances by Keyboardist Bill Payne( Little Feat, James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Bob Seeger) Bassist James Hutch Hutchinson and Drummer Ricky Fataar ( The Bonnie Raitt Band) and Grammy award winning Guitarist Randy Ray Mitchell (Warron Zevon).

As a solo artist, as well as early collaborations with his trio City Folk and with multi instrumentalist Dayan Kai, he has toured the national Folk and Americana circuit extensively for the last two and a half decades. He’s performed at Major festivals and legendary venues, appeared on prominent national radio shows, and shared stages with some of the country’s best-known artists. His masterfully crafted tunes and honest engaging performances have earned him the top songwriting awards at the
Telluride Blue Grass Festival, The Kerrville Folk Festival and The Napa Valley Folk Festival.

Weather leading a band or alone with just a guitar, Keith captivates an audience.  From the deep grooves of a soulful ballad to the intensity of a hard-driving anthem his rich vocal range conveys strength tempered with vulnerability, political struggle reflected in personal experience, and a deep connection to the land, community, and family.  A fourth generation Northern Californian

Keith has traveled and lived throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America. His music has been deeply influenced by his work with Native American and Latin cultures, and  his songs cut an honest, hard worn path to places of simple truth about good people holding on to hope and instinct in a world that often tries to strip these things away.
