Album Notes
Say it with a song... and why not indeed especially when you have a lot to say and a voice strong enough to make sure you are heard! Keltrix is a varied beast, grooving it up one minute with freak folk foot stomping crowd pleaser's before sliding into ambient acoustic moments then rousting it all up again with hints of ska, rock, disco and dubfunk. An eclectic mix but one that appears to work...

Keltrix are led most fearlessly into battle by Keri. Better known as 'Scouse' for obvious reasons. After a few ciders, Keri's fiery, temperament is just as apparent in her general demeanor as it is in her voice.

Citing her influences for material as coming from: life, loving, loathing, breathing, death, birth and everything in-between, Keri says she writes the majority of Keltrix's material 'When the barking voices in my head get so loud that I have to go and pen it down to silence the sound. I have no choice, they write themselves, I am but the messenger. Music speaks to the soul.'

And as for the rest of the band:

Sharon, plays and teaches violin ridiculously well. She remains the long suffering backbone of the band and manages to keep her head when chaos breaks loose, and it frequently does. Sharon is steadfast and practical and generally an all round brilliant lady. In the spare time Sharon does not have she produces fabulous fat dance music under the guise of Decibelle

Nick is almost a fully functioning human being, his rehabilitation into society having been a partial success. Doctors hope that further administration of seriously strong medication may render him further insane. Tra la la. Nick also plays bass better than Mr Kipling makes cakes!

Rob is a wizard on guitar, whilst maintaining a permanent grin and managing to pull of the classic rocker look really well, he also makes a blinding cup of tea, a true multi tasker!

Tom is a lovely young man who is probably too lovely to be in a band with us lot, though he happens to be a demon behind the kit so his ass is ours! Yes lady's!
