Album Notes
Ken Kurland writes classical, new age, jazz, world, and theater. His score for the short film "Last Words" (produced and directed by Paul Kelly) won an Award of Merit from the Best Shorts Competition. Three songs from "Easy River" are on the score: "Love Runs Deep," "Reason to Live," and "Easy River." He composed an Off-Off-Broadway musical ("Delilah") which starred award winning actress Uzo Aruba, and he was featured in an ASCAP Songwriters Showcase. Dozens of Ken's songs have been played on podcasts and have been used as soundtracks on YouTube videos from around the world. Ken has released six albums: Songs for Spring (classical), Morning Begins (classical), Lo La Day (world-Caribbean), Night (new age and classical), and Songs for Autumn (classical).
