Album Notes
After 30 years on the Boston Music scene, Kenny Hogan has focused on creating his own musical vehicle.

It's called Frank's Imperial.

His songs are fueled by a high octane mixture of Rock, Blues, Soul, Jazz, Country, and even a quirky bit of ukulele music.

The result is an album as versatile as he is.

He assembled these songs carefully, playing most of the instruments himself and singing all lead and background vocals.

"I've spent over thirty years playing other people's music, mostly in bar bands.
Now it's time for me to play my own songs.
Learning and covering so many popular songs gives me the advantage of seeing how those great songs were constructed, and I apply what I've learned to my own style of songwriting," says Ken.

Hogan used every tool in the toolbox on his musical luxury vehicle, playing acoustic and electric guitars, slide dobro, mandolin, harmonica, keyboards, bass and percussion.

Carefully crafted for a smooth powerful ride, Frank's Imperial has style, class, and a lot of variety.

A Must Have CD
This CD is Top Notch, Every song has a story. Kenny is a extremely multi-talented musician who has been enteraining for years...This CD is long over due for such a talented musician, But...IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT!
Hopefully more will follow! You owe it to yourself to own this CD!!! You will not be disappointed!!!
From the Cranking Guitar to the awesome vocals you will love This!

Should get 6 stars...
A truly brilliant debut album that has something for everyone. The styles range from the foot-stompin' rockabilly of "Let's Go" and "Fishin' Hole" through the southern-fried "Backyard Barbecue", the spiritually uplifting strains of "Heaven", "Starting All Over Again" & "I'll Be There For You", good time feeling of
"The Uke Song" and "Every Thing I Need", the tender love song "Did I Tell You" to the smoldering slide guitar-infused "Evil Rain" which sounds like it's actually leaving burn marks in it's wake.

And smack in the middle of this great collection are the title track "Frank's Imperial" and "Whiskey Bottle Aristotle" both of which would surely make Donald Fagan sit up and take notice. Best of all, Ken does all the vocals and nearly all of the instruments himself.

There isn't a song here that's anything less than wonderful. Highly recommended!

This is Great!
I can't help but reminisce when I hear such a variety of songs that remind so much of the styles I've been so fond of as I've passed through life in all my years. I just love all those vocals that bring me all they way back to the days of Motown blending nicely with such upbeat blues with a steady groove. Topped off with some songs in their on Ukulele that I can't explain why I like them, but I do. More Please.
