ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Relesed in the fall of 2009, KB4 is the recording the Kerry Boys have been after for the 20 years together. It has a great selection of songs that their audience has enjoyed live over the years as well as a few originals that have been KB fan staples. The recording captures the excitement of a live Kerry Boys show with it's great vocal harmonies and groove oriented arrangements, keeping to their philosphy of " keep it simple, but play the hell out of it" approach to music. KB4 even has their haunting version of Danny Boy, which will please all their fans who have been asking for it on a recording for many years, but which has been elusive in the studio until now. If you are unfamiliar with the Kerry Boys, one listen to this CD will tell you all you need to know about them, traditional Irish Ballads with Celtic style originals done right!
