ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I got a late start in life learning music at age 17. I had asked for piano lessons and a piano from my mother when I was age five. The piano did come through my dad, at around age 10, but given we lived in an apartment; I couldn’t practice each day, because my mother was telling me the piano was too loud. She thought I had lost interest in the piano, but in truth I never did. I just was trying to be good and honor the neighbors as requested. Still, I agonized for each day I could not touch the piano sitting in our apartment. My dad would have had us living in a house if he had things his way, but my mother loved apartments having grown up in Rockaway Beach, New York. I would have preferred a house. Then I could have practiced in a room with the door closed during the day time after school to perfect my craft and art.

By age fifteen, I was given a guitar by one of the nuns at St. Francis of Assisi Church in North Hollywood one night after one of the prayer meetings I attended, to help out with the music ministry. Sister Joan was the gal who gave me her nylon string guitar. That guitar is with me to this day, some 35 years later. I call the guitar “Joani”.

Once I got my state scholarship, I chose Loyola University at age 17, as my University of choice. I majored in their technical communication arts and sciences program. I also double majored in music to catch up on lost time. By the time I was hitting my mid twenties, I had been writing many songs and instrumental works, as I tried to catch up on lost time in my studies. Then I had my first NDE (Near Death Experience) come August 19, 1981 and got a life’s review of my life showing that my life had gone terribly wrong and that I had been destined for the entertainment industry and the music industry much earlier in life. See how I knew where I was suppose to be at age five? Amazing how parents who are given talented kids fail when given such a gift. My mother blew it royally too with me. My parents were sitting on pure gold I was shown in death and instead my mother did what she could to beat me up all the time and destroy me as a boy. This is how troubled a woman she was when such was not to be the plan I was shown in death. I was encouraged not to come back by Jesus himself while I stood before him surrounded by endless light, but I did come back to help my parents and brother find their way back to the light before my time here is done. Christians would call the light "The Holy Spirit" which really means "The Entire Spirit" of God for God's true form is this endless ocean of light and consciousness. The Father and the Son are mere avatars that come out of this light and can be seen in the Christian heaven via the throne of God which is made out of bluish silvery white light, which I got to see in my second NDE at age 44.

These days, after convalescing from long term illness, I find myself going through my old reel to reel tapes, so as to transfer them to digital format for remix and sales on my CDbaby artist page which is growing in offerings these days. You can hear samples of my works on those pages or on TheAstroboy9 channel on YouTube.

So here is “Your Song”; done some 30 years ago with me on electronic piano and vocal, as I show you photos of that life long passed at places where I would perform. This was before my health started to fail at age 27 when I bought bad food at a local Pup-N-Taco while I was working on The Million Dollar Bank Game project you can year about on TheAstroboy9 channel. I then got hit again at age 37 from bad sausage I bought from a local Vons Supermarket near my home which kept me house bound from about 50 major health complications these past 18 years.
