ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Orange Opera is one of the groups that performs songs written by Kevin Hambick. Hambrick is a singer/songwriter from Fort Wayne, Indiana. His obsession with music goes without saying. The vault of music which he has written through the years contains more than 350 songs. He's a multi-instrumentalist playing everything from guitar, piano, bass, drums, accordion, and anything else in the room at the time. The solo albums which he has released features this magic with Hambrick also recording and engineering from his home studio. The key to his songs and what he believes makes for good songs is timeless. His influences range from a clever Beatles to a Wilco tone, delivering strong writing and catchy hooks which keep you coming back for more. There's also a documentary that was made about him in 2005. The film (PAGING RASCAL HANKS) shows Hambrick's struggles and solutions about being a musician in a small useless town, recovering from Alcohol/drugs, and the power of a good chemical imbalance. Let the records show that this guy has a lot to offer and an imagination that won't quit.
