ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Three Ottawa, Ontario jazz musicians came together with the idea of playing three fairly disjoint ideas. The music of Ornette Coleman, originals based on Indian ragas, and songs from the popular and jazz traditions. With Steve Boudreau on Electric Piano, Jeff Asselin and Michel Delage on two drumsets. With only one musician playing pitched notes, the forms of pieces are fairly open and in live settings can go in any direction. All the takes on this record were recorded live off the floor in one afternoon at the Resonator by Matt Ouimet to recreate this sound.

Killing it!
These guys are awesome -- great musicianship and good tune selection. Contemporary in the best possible way. Highly recommended.
